HTC 7 trophy broken power button disaster!!

Hi ,
I was replacing a broken LCD on an HTC 7 trophy the other day , and while reassembling, I accidentally broke the power button. I managed to short circuit to pins on the PCB to power on the phone, however now the display has to always stay on, otherwise the phone won't wake up, since there's no power button. Does anyone know what part nr. the power switch is? I know there are some apps for android that assign the function of a power button to other button. Is there such an app for windows phones too?

Any help will be appreciated

Hello,
I am looking for free SIP Client application because I have Asterisk PBX and I want to connect to it. Before I was with WM 6.5 and it works great with PortSIP application and Asterisk.
I try to find in the WWW this kind of application but still no success.
If some one know such like this application please write here.

Samsung Focus 2 Windows Phone Available May 20

AT&T is launching the freshly minted Samsung Focus 2 on May 20. The handset is the first Windows Phone to be released on AT&T's blazing fast 4G LTE network to bring you fast downloads and smooth video streaming and gaming. The 4.0" WVGA Super AMOLED screen will bring colors to life along with a 5mp rear shooter with 4x digital optical zoom that can also capture video in full HD. The handset will ship with Windows 7.5, 8GB of onboard memory and a long lasting 1750mAh battery. No information on pricing or if the handset will be upgraded to Windows 8 but it looks to be a nice entry level Windows Phone that should introduce a whole new crowd to the Windows Phone scene.

Nokia Confirms They Plan to Bring the Lumia 808 PureView (with 41MP Camera) to U.S.

If you were one of the folks enamored by the new Lumia 808 Pureview from Nokia, (the phone with the 41 MegaPixel super-camera), but were disappointed to find out it was not announced for North America, then this news will brighten your day. Apparently, a spokesperson at Nokia, executive Chris Weber, confirmed that they intend to bring it to the United States and Canada at some point in the "next couple of months." In fact, the phone has already passed through the U.S. FCC inspection and will likely be coming to AT&T. Now, for folks who use the camera on their smartphone more than any other feature, you can own a device that rivals some professional quality digital cameras.

We will keep you informed as we find out more.

[APP][BETA] The Parking Network - Testers required

Hi all,

My app, The Parking Network is close to its code completion milestone, but before I release it to the public as an ad-supported app, I would like to ask you guys for help to test it out.

The idea is big, basicly, I would like to log every single available street parking spot in the world by using my parking spot app. The app, as of this stage, is simply a parking spot app, nothing more, but in the future, as enough parking spot information is gathered, I would like to enable the parking spot finding feature, where the app will show, in real time, which The Parking Network user's parking spot will expire soon and the parking enforcements (i.e. price, time allow to park) of spots on street.

The app is 100% done, and I was just about to submit it to the marketplace, but I totally forget to generate a list of private testers.

I hope you guys can help to let me have some feed back on it :D

Hello,
I have HTC Radar with WP 7.5 OS version: 7.10.8107.79.
I buy before 3 months Chevron developer Unlock and yesterday unlock expired and the phone locked again.
I read Chevron site but they not support any more unlock. Is there some other way to unlock my phone ?
I need interop unlock but if I can developer unlock it will be great.
As far as I know the device is second generation phone.

Videos Show Microsoft Smoked by Windows Phone Ad Campaign is a Huge Success!

In case you have been living under a rock and haven't heard of it, Microsoft has an ad campaign called Smoked by Windows Phone. In the campaign, users of non-Windows phones step into one of the Microsoft stores and try out a challenge in which they pit their Android or iPhone against a Windows Phone. It started it in January during CES, and Microsoft just revealed some of the info gathered from the ad campaign... The results so far are phenomenal!

The ad campaign itself has actually been a rousing success. YouTube videos of the Smoked by Windows Phone challenge have been viewed more than 8 million times so far. Supposedly, over 50,000 phones have been smoked across 36 countries around the globe. Throughout all those "tests" only 638 challengers were able to best the Windows Phone. The overall winning percentage for Microsoft's new mobile OS stands at 98%! Additionally, Microsoft claims that over 100 million people worldwide have heard of the Smoked by Windows Phone campaign.

Because of the success of the marketing campaign so far, Microsoft plans to continue the series and is sharing more videos of it. You can check out one of them above.

Pretty soon Nokia and HTC won't have the only new Windows phones out for AT&T. Samsung just announced their new Focus 2 LTE for AT&T. It will be available on May 20th for just $49.99 on a new contract. Here's a spec-list:

5 MP autofocus rear camera - 720p HD video recording support
Front-facing VGA camera for video calls
Windows Phone 7.5.

This one is obviously geared toward the budget crowd, and looks to be a great value!
