[INFO] Deciphering Rom Info [READ CAREFULLY]

    Hey Friends,

If you are interested in installing a new ROM on your device, here is a guide how to recognize a true ROM that will suite your phone. OR ELSE....you are gonna lose it forever...!!!

    So here it goes,

    :::HOW TO IDENTIFY YOUR ROM:::

Go to Settings in your phone....Click About...And you will see info like this:

    Firmware revision number: 2250.09.10906.162
    Hardware revision number: 0003
    Radio software version: 5.50.09.15_22.23.50.09U
    Radio hardware version: A.102.0.D4
    Bootloader version: 1.9.2250.6(111329)
    Chip SOC version: 2.2.5.0

Taking the above info into consideration, your ROM version would be something like this:

    RUU_DeviceName_Operator_1.09.162.06_DeviceName1_5. 50.09.15_22.23.50.09U_RELEASE.exe

    WHERE:

    RUU: Rom Update Utility

WWE: World Wide English (It means the ROM language is English)

Device Name: Mondrian( or Surround) or Mozart or Schubert or Spark etc

Operator: Telus, AT & T, Cingular, Telenor, etc

DeviceName1: it will be missing or same as Device Name

    The radio is straigthforward.

The Firmware Version must be rearranged as follows:

these last digits .10906.162 to 1.09.162.06

    Regards..!!

Hope this helps you a lot.

    Any questions will be appreciated...!!
