what is your current SPL version...??? PM me if you can and by the way dont be afraid.

You can use and version nearest...i.e. if your current version is 4.1.23 use any nearest version like 4.x.xx any version...

Don't worry and send me your SPL version so that I can guide you exactly what version should you use...!!

If your SPL version 4.3.2250 is not present in the list...use SPL version 4.3.XXXX.X
i.e. XXXX.X stands for any number....

since I do not have a surround I cannot connect and see the list of available SPLs but I recommend you to use any SPL nearest to the last four digits of your SPL...ie. 2250

The condition is only the first number i.e. 4. should be same.

Hi, I have a HTC Surround, which the DFT_RSPL_WP7FG1_LAUNCH program identifies as HTC MONDRIAN. However, on the list of OSPL versions the program shows only versions 1.x (there are no 2, 3 or 4 OSPL versions).

My HTC Surround is SPL 4.3.2250.0 - in this case, what should I do? Is there a newer version of DFT_RSPL_WP7FG1_LAUNCH that have also the 4.x OSPL versions on the select field, or do this mean that I cannot jailbreak my phone?

I downloaded the DFT_XSPL_WP7FG2 file, extracted and then I ran DFT_RSPL_WP7FG2_LAUNCH, but still it shows only 1.x OSPL versions....

Hey there,

I guess its an issue with your OS....I already checked it out and there are other versions available too.

I recommend you to run this program on XP or Vista platform.

Also please check that you have following programs installed:
for Windows 7 & Vista : Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center
for Windows XP : Microsoft ActiveSync

I'm using Windows 7 64 bits, the DFT app has administrative rigths and Windows Mobile Device Center is installed on my pc. What should I do?

First of, thanks to LiF3_h4cK3r. I appreciate the effort, still getting problems with RSPL, current version 4.3.2250.0. None of the options on the system start with 4.x.xx. Any idea which one should I use, should I downgrade or something? I'm on windows 7 and I've also tested on windows XP. I'm with an HTC surround by the way.
