YES ,,,got updates ,,,so far its good !!!! BUT i still like to change my ringtones is this going to happen?????

Not sure, but i think all those changes are coming with the new update due sometimes this fall.

I think Microsoft does not want consumers to start doing a lot of customization so early when WP7 is still a baby. As the Baby (wp7) begins to sit, crawl, stand and walk all what consumers need will be added gradually. Let us be patient, its only been about 6 months since the baby (wp7) was born. still learning how to smile with consumers.

(If Rome was build in one day we will have no Rome today).

Custom ringtones are listed as being included in the Mango update that will be here by the fall.

Edit your song (I used Gold Wave). It must be shorter than 39 seconds and it must be smaller than 1 MB.
Choose the part of song you would like to be your ringtone.
Save it as either MP3 or WMA and edit its TAG. It must be cleared of any DRM or info of author and it must be put into "Ringtone" GENRE.
Put it in your ZUNE music folder, usually MUSIC folder inside your DOCUMENTS.
Connect your phone and in ZUNE find your newly created song.
Transfer it to your phone and look inside SETTINGS - RINGTONES!
If its there you've made it. Choose it and that's it!!!
