[BREAKING] First Step to Nokia Lumia 800 Intertop Unlock / Jailbreak [BREAKING]

Well, Fortunately some guys just figured it out that the Nokia Lumia 800 series comes with a unlocked bootloader. Yes, it means that if it has an unlocked bootloader, you can JAILBREAK your device to use it with other carriers...!!!

NOTE: I am not a owner of Lumia 800 but some of my friends figured it out somehow. CREDIT goes to that DEV TEAM only i.e. biktor_gj and TEAM

Here are the steps to find if your Lumia 800 has an unlocked bootloader. If you do not have an unlocked bootloader, you cannot JAILBREAK your device (for now atleast).

Follow these steps to find out:

1. Disconnect your Lumia 800 from your PC or charging inlet, and then turn it off.
2. Press the Volume Up and Power buttons simultaneously while the phone is still off. A short vibration will be felt, and at this point, you have to connect your phone to the PC via a USB cable. Don’t let go of the buttons for now.
3. Now, you will see that your system is trying to install drivers for the phone. If you don’t see it on Windows, go to the Devices and Printers menu and you will find the device driver name there.
4. In case you are presented with the option to format the device, press No.
5. If your Lumia 800 is being displayed as a Nokia DLOAD, you are out of luck and your phone can’t get an interop unlock for now. However, if you are lucky and the device type is USB Mass Storage, or anything to that effect, you have an unlocked boot loader!

See if you have an unlocked bootloader....and post your views here. I will be shortly posting the ROMs for this device...so better hurry up and check if your bootloader is unlocked
